Capture their Beauty
A custom watercolor pet portrait is the perfect gift that can be cherished for years to come.

Step 1:
Submit a high-quality photo
Please email at least one high-quality photo of your pet for the pet portrait to info@kartidia.com. The clearer and more detailed the photo, the more realistic and captivating your custom pet portrait will be.
We kindly request that you only send photos for which you have full image rights. As the client, you are responsible for any potential copyright issues that may arise from the submitted images.

Step 2:
Initial sketches
During the drawing stage, you can receive up to 3 unique designs based on the images you provide. It's your chance to pick your favorite!
Before we proceed with painting, please let us know of any specific changes or additions you would like to incorporate into the piece so that the final artwork perfectly captures your vision.

Step 3:
Painting Stage
Throughout the painting process, we offer the option to receive photo updates of your pet portrait, keeping you updated on the progress of your artwork.
To ensure your complete satisfaction, you have the option to view photos of the finished piece before we package and mail your pet portrait.
If you have any questions about custom pet portraits, please don't hesitate to email us at info@kartidia.com. We'd be happy to help!
How Do I Frame Custom Artwork?
Framing: When framing a watercolor painting, consider where you are placing the piece. If avoiding direct sunlight is not an option, consider framing behind UV-filtering acrylic instead of glass to preserve the art. Custom sizes may require a custom frame. Our watercolor pet portraits are mailed to you on paper slightly larger in size than you indicated, in order to allow for extra room on the sides of the piece when framing. Make sure to include sturdy backing such as cardboard, foam, or wood to hold the art in the frame. You may also consider including acid-free mat paper to better frame and position the artwork. Make sure no fingerprints get on the side of the glass or acrylic panel on the inside of the frame, to avoid natural oils from staining the painting. For a more in-depth explanation and set-by-step guide on framing art, check out our blog post on how to correctly frame originals and prints!
